"It would have to be the dozen
times I got up on stage with you guys and did KISS...or maybe it was when
you made me cry with the words on your CD...you assholes. I love you and
miss you." |
| "There is still
hardened whip cream in the liner of our guitar cabs from the one and only
show Cwn Annwn and Kwang shared the stage. This makes me happy every time." Neil J. |

"Umm, lets see.
I'm going to go with: 'Sweaty Boy Lover John' turning my dumb-ass into a drug mule. John: 'ah, dude? Look on your coffee table and see if I might have left something...I need my Paul Stanley Russian doll back' Dan Motor: 'Fuck dude!' John: 'you mind mailing it back to me?' Dan Motor: 'Let's see....how many Federal Laws would that break...' John: 'okay, okay. I'm swinging back through Madison in a couple days, can you do a drop?' Dan Motor: 'Diggity' John: 'Balls' Dan Motor: 'On yer chin' John: 'Don't tease me if you ain't gonna put out' Dan Motor: 'Don't worry baby, I won't disappoint' John: 'That's what you said last time and 2 minutes later I was finishing the job myself' Dan Motor: 'Yeah, well I told you to slow down, but you didn't listen...' John: 'No shit, right in the eyes....that stuff stings...' kisses" Dan Motor |
| "Well since I have
only seen you once live and that was for my 30th birthday party in Osage,
Iowa I have to say that that is my favorite memory of you guys.
I loved that you played not only some originals but also songs that really got the crowd (both young kids and older adults) in the mix. Of course by the end of the night and after our 4th keg my brother Jason and I decided that we channel Axl Rose and got up there to put his moves into motion and oh the singing...what more can be said about that! I've had requests for you guys to come down again for a party and who knows maybe we will get that done some time. Thanks again for rockin'! Have a great holiday." Sarah K. |

"As far as my favorite Kwang memory is
concerned, I would have to say that it was at Club Underground about 2
years ago. It was actually my first time seeing you guys perform live.
I had heard recordings and enjoyed what I had heard so I was extremely
curious to see the live show. Finally, you guys hit the stage.
From the first song of the set to the second encore song I was completely engaged and enthralled. I was so focused and entrapped in your musical powerhouse that I actually forgot to refill my beer. Something I rarely do. As I walked out of the Club that night all I can remember thinking was that I had just witnessed a band that not only wrote catchy, hook-laden songs and were accomplished musicians, but also a band that truly understood and embraced the power of a good live performance. It was truly inspiring." Viva La Kwang!! Karl O. |

"Two specific memories come to mind: 1) Knapper calling me in a total panic the night before the Kwang CD release explaining 'Dan sawed his fingers off and asking me if I thought Jay or Johnson could fill in on bass.' MJ: 'John?' Knapper: 'MJ?' MJ: 'Dan sawed his fingers off...how many?' Knapper: 'Well he didn't saw his fingers off but cut them really bad on a table saw. He got like 42 stiches.' MJ: 'Dan will play the gig I assure you.' The rest of the conversation entailed trying to tame John down. I don't think Dan purposely tried to cut his fingers off the night before the Kwang CD release show out of spite! 2) '06 Halloween show with the Skullcranes & Like Hell at the Spring Street. Jesus, The Dwarf and Kim Jong tossing out popcorn and Hot Pockets to the crowd." M.J. |

"I liked when the input jack on Knapper's guitar just fell right out at the beginning of a set at Club Underground. Then Justin's backup guitar wasn't in tune and wasn't cooperating. I laughed." Lance V. |
| "My favorite Kwang
memory is getting on stage and singing Cold Gin with John and Jonathon in
Fargo. Old school Kiss buddies to this day."
